Kurzbiografie
An zwei Orten, beide am Waldrand Hunderte Kilometer voneinander entfernt, wachse ich auf. Im Auto bewege ich mich über drei Grenzen. Wolken schlängeln sich um hohe Berge, schmiegen sich an. Boden, Licht und Bäume wandeln sich. Staunend beobachte ich aus dem Autofenster die vorbeifließende Landschaft. Der Boden wird zum riesigen Spielfeld. Der Horizont bleibt eine langgezogene Linie, die ich nicht greifen kann.
Meine Malerei ereignet sich in einem poetischen Narrativ über die Erfahrung von Landschaft. Herkunft und Identität sind für mich etwas Weites und Fließendes, sich ständig Veränderndes. Malen und Zeichnen ist Bewegung und Transformation. Ich suche danach, harte Grenzen weich und fließend werden zu lassen. In starker Farbe arbeite ich performativ, gestisch und direkt.
In der Spannung aus Konkret und Abstrakt entwickeln sich Kompositionen mit eigener Poesie.
Meine Kunst ist Erfahrung von Landschaft.

Short biography
I grew up in two places, both on the edge of the forest, hundreds of kilometers apart. In the car, I cross three borders. Clouds wind their way around high mountains, nestling against them. The ground, the light, and the trees change. I watch in wonder as the landscape flows by outside the car window. The ground becomes a vast playing field. The horizon remains a long, drawn-out line that I cannot grasp.
My painting unfolds within a poetic narrative about the experience of landscape. For me, origin and identity are something vast and fluid, constantly changing. Painting and drawing are movement and transformation. I seek to soften rigid boundaries and make them fluid. Using bold colors, I work in a performative, gestural, and direct manner.In the tension between the concrete and the abstract, compositions with their own poetry emerge.
My art is the experience of landscape.
