Kyoungmin Park Viola
Kurzbiografie
Kyoungmin Park, geboren in Seoul, Südkorea, studierte ab 2003 in Wien. Im Jahr 2008 zog sie nach Berlin, wo sie an der Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin zunächst bei Walter Küssner und von 2010 bis 2016 bei Tabea Zimmermann studierte. Dort schloss sie ihr Studium mit dem Konzertexamen ab.
Die mehrfache Preisträgerin nationaler und internationaler Wettbewerbe, darunter der ARD International Music Competition, der Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition und der Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition, spielt eine Bratsche von Rudolf Höß aus dem Jahr 1690.
Seit 2018 ist sie Mitglied der Berlin Philharmonic.
Short biography
Kyoungmin Park, born in Seoul, South Korea, began studying in Vienna in 2003. In 2008, she moved to Berlin, where she studied at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, first with Walter Küssner and then, from 2010 to 2016, with Tabea Zimmermann. There, she completed her studies with the Konzertexamen.
A multiple prize winner at national and international competitions, including the ARD International Music Competition, the Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition, and the Markneukirchen International Instrumental Competition, she plays a viola made by Rudolf Höß in 1690.
She has been a member of the Berlin Philharmonic since 2018.
