Kurzbiografie
Die aus Ploiești (Rumänien) stammende Pianistin Daria Tudor, ausgezeichnet als Best Young Artist of the Year beim Cincinnati Art of the Piano Festival (2019), begann im Alter von vier Jahren mit dem Klavierspiel und debütierte bereits mit neun mit dem Rumänischen Radio Kammerorchester. Nach zahlreichen Erfolgen bei nationalen Wettbewerben und Auftritten in Radio und Fernsehen zog sie 2015 nach Deutschland und entwickelte eine internationale Karriere als Solistin und Kammermusikerin.
Daria trat in renommierten Sälen wie der Werner Hall (USA), St. Martin-in-the-Fields (UK) und der Akishino Hall (JP) auf und war Gast bei Festivals wie Kissinger Sommer, Alpenarte Schwarzenberg und dem Encuentro de Música Santander. Als Solistin konzertierte sie u. a. mit Orchestern in Belgien, Italien und Rumänien unter Dirigenten wie Dirk Vermeulen und Horia Andreescu.
In der Kammermusik arbeitete sie mit Persönlichkeiten wie Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Zakhar Bron und Andrei Ioniță zusammen. Sie studierte an der Universität der Künste Berlin bei Pascal Devoyon und Björn Lehmann, wurde u. a. von Elisabeth Leonskaja gefördert und ist aktuell als Korrepetitorin an der UdK Berlin und der Barenboim-Said Akademie tätig. 2023 präsentierte sie die Konzert-Show Songs of the Clown, deren CD 2025 erschien. Zudem ist sie Produzentin des Hoinar Festivals 2025 in Bukarest.
Short biography
Pianist Daria Tudor from Ploiești (Romania), honoured as Best Young Artist of the Year at the Cincinnati Art of the Piano Festival (2019), began playing the piano at the age of four and made her debut with the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra at the age of nine. After numerous successes at national competitions and appearances on radio and television, she moved to Germany in 2015 and developed an international career as a soloist and chamber musician.
Daria has performed in prestigious halls such as Werner Hall (USA), St Martin-in-the-Fields (UK) and Akishino Hall (JP) and has been a guest at festivals such as Kissinger Sommer, Alpenarte Schwarzenberg and Encuentro de Música Santander. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras in Belgium, Italy and Romania under conductors such as Dirk Vermeulen and Horia Andreescu.
In chamber music, she has worked with personalities such as Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Zakhar Bron and Andrei Ioniță. She studied at the Berlin University of the Arts with Pascal Devoyon and Björn Lehmann, was supported by Elisabeth Leonskaja, among others, and currently works as a répétiteur at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Barenboim-Said Akademie. In 2023 she presented the concert show Songs of the Clown, whose CD was released in 2025. She is also the producer of the Hoinar Festival 2025 in Bucharest.
